My website(home page) had been ranking in first page of Google search results and then it went to 10th page and again to 3rd page. It has been fluctuating often. Though competition for that particular keyword is not that high, I find it difficult to get it on page one again. Please help me to get rid of this problem. Also it will be helpful if any of you can tell me the other sources to promote apart from ‘Social Bookmarking’ ‘Article Promotions’ ‘Directory Promotions’ ‘Forum Postings’ ‘Blog Promotions’ ‘Press Released’ ‘Business Listings’. Basically, these are all web-social services, right?

But I’m the most "tech-savvy" out of my friends (which isn’t saying much). None of them even know what an RSS reader is. Many of them have never heard of Flickr.

So it isn’t like my friends and I will trade Twitters or anything. Digg, I’m kind of missing the point of, but it must have some logical use, because it’s hit it big. Delicious is pretty popular, but what’s the point of social bookmarking if you don’t have any friends that will contribute to the social part? I already use Google bookmarks. Should I give Delicious a shot?

I want your opinions. Would Twitter, Digg, or Delicious really benefit me in any way if none of my friends use any of the mentioned services?

if i am missing anything in this flow ?

I own a Minnesota DJ Company. www.yourminnesotadj.com I am looking for more traffic to my site. So far I use Facebook, linkedIn, Myspace, Twitter X3, 4 blogger blogs, 4 wordpress blogs, social bookmarking, google local, Referring wedding sites, youtube and other video sites, direct mail and craigslist.

Do you think I am out of free media or is there more.
I also do some google adwords, facebook ads and myspace ads.

Aside from directory submission, content, article submission, social bookmarking, signature links, what are the other ways of building links and traffic my site busby seo challenge for google ?

I keep coming across widgets to add to my blogger blogs for social bookmarking, emailing and rss feed subscriptions, yet I always seem to see better all-in-one, comprehensive widgets on other people’s blogs. Can anyone recommend a single widget that allows people to subscribe to emails, rss feeds, bookmark and add to google, yahoo, facebook, twitter, digg, etc. etc. etc.? Something slim, understandable and convenient.

I’m looking into setting up my own blog on google but without using adsense. I’m going to put bits from all of my Triond/Bukisa/Associated Content/eHow articles on this blog and link to them so that readers can read the rest of it.

There are some concerns I have though, I know if I do this stuff while signed up with Adsense, I will get banned, but will any of this ban me from Google period without having adsense:

1) Since this blog will have links to my articles, will this result in me getting banned for i.e. excessive linking?

2) I plan on using partial auto surf/web traffic to drive some of the hits.

3) I plan to promote my blog on sites like delicious and furl and reddit, etc. I’m not posting every single blog post on there, but I just plan on posting a single post regarding my blog on each social bookmarking site, that’s it. So its not spamming, its only one post per site, thats it.

4) I also plan to use linkbucks which uses link cloaking.

Once again, I’m not signing up for adsense period because I know if I do any of these things I would get banned, I’m just going to create a blog with google, so would any of those 4 things get me banned from google period or is that only with adsense?

P.S. Also, would anyone here happen to know of a service like adsense which won’t ban you for those types of things?
