Out of those thousand I would like at least 50% of it to be highly targeted quality traffic.I heard of writing articles as a way to generate quality traffic but is it something that I need to do constantly over and over because I have written 1 article so far and I only receive about 10 visitors a month to my site from it. It was written about a month ago.

Also I have heard of using social media and social bookmarking sites like Delicious,Digg and Technorratti but I am not certain exactly how they generate traffic since I don’t really use social sites like face book,twitter etc.

How do I get high levels of targeted traffic. My site advertises opportunities and various products it is not exactly the type of site that I have a lot of new content to post often either.

I am looking for answers from persons who own sites and get like 7000-10,000 site visitors a month what exactly do you do ?

Not methods like Google Ad words etc I am aware of that

I have a sarcastic/entertainment blog. The url, since they won’t let me write it all out, is:

and I get about 75+ people a day. Not bad considering I did it just for giggles.

I know my blog isn’t for everyone, but how do I get more people to come to my blog? I post new entries every day or two, I submit it to the top five social bookmarking sites and I put my link on all of my friends’ sites.

I’ve written 100+ entries so far, and the most visitors I’ve had in one day is 176. I’d love to get 1,000+ readers a day. Any advice?

I’ve been blogging for about 3 months now. No ads on my blog to speed up traffic. My niche is about weight loss. It just stresses me knowing that I only have 6 visitors or less a day. In fact I update my blog with new post 3 times a week. I already have 30 post. Since its weight loss, I don’t expect some comments because its not some entertainment or rumor blog. I joined social bookmarking sites and noticed that most weight loss blogs don’t get updated anymore on mybloglog and blogcatalog. I even did a little SEO technique. When I type weight loss on blogcatalog, my site appears on the first page of that site because I update it. Will that happen to search engines like Yahoo and Google too if I update often? Im willing to. How much patience should I need to get atleast 100 a day. Real answers please cause most blog websites only make it complicated.
