There are huge number of website in internet. It’s out of my imagination. Every webmaster try hard to promote his website. The competition among website is fierce. But how many website and who will win the battle of website promotion? Will a website with creative contents? I don’t think so. Many good website got very low traffic. I tried many ways to promote my website such as posting comments, submitting to website of social bookmarking, submitting videos to youtube, creating a blog. But no obvious effect. I don’t know why other people’s suggestion didn’t work well. Does anybody know why what we learnt is so useless?

In fact, I summarized many ways for website promotion in my blog. But few works. So My Question is why what we learnt usually don’t work well.

I’ll try different ways and find out which ways will work well. That is also one reason why my blog will focus on HOW TO promote website – Learn From FAILURE, as few people will let you know the lessons of failure.

what should I do now to get a better page rank and much more traffic to my website?

I own a Minnesota DJ Company. www.yourminnesotadj.com I am looking for more traffic to my site. So far I use Facebook, linkedIn, Myspace, Twitter X3, 4 blogger blogs, 4 wordpress blogs, social bookmarking, google local, Referring wedding sites, youtube and other video sites, direct mail and craigslist.

Do you think I am out of free media or is there more.
I also do some google adwords, facebook ads and myspace ads.

I’m new to marketing and have been using social bookmarking to get the word out about my blogs and articles and such. but I’m still not selling anything yet. I also link like crazy and I use yahoo answers for a little traffic but again I just don’t think I get enough traffic. If you know of others ways to help me get traffic for free please let me know.

video at youtube and article submitted at sites, but it
is too time intensive, can you share your best working,

so far I have tried PPC,SEO,Social bookmarking, 4 press releases, link submission = Nothing have happend. I tried a couple of different freelancers to help me promote my site but NOTHING came out of it. I feel like all the marketing people promises but no one delivers. Does anyone have a working way (that wont ruin me) of how to generate "real traffic" to eteq.com?

Aside from directory submission, content, article submission, social bookmarking, signature links, what are the other ways of building links and traffic my site busby seo challenge for google ?

I’ve been blogging for about 3 months now. No ads on my blog to speed up traffic. My niche is about weight loss. It just stresses me knowing that I only have 6 visitors or less a day. In fact I update my blog with new post 3 times a week. I already have 30 post. Since its weight loss, I don’t expect some comments because its not some entertainment or rumor blog. I joined social bookmarking sites and noticed that most weight loss blogs don’t get updated anymore on mybloglog and blogcatalog. I even did a little SEO technique. When I type weight loss on blogcatalog, my site appears on the first page of that site because I update it. Will that happen to search engines like Yahoo and Google too if I update often? Im willing to. How much patience should I need to get atleast 100 a day. Real answers please cause most blog websites only make it complicated.

I blog and social bookmark everyday along with submitting to as many directories as possible. I don’t have the budget for a good PPC campaign, so I was wondering if there was a new or better way to drive traffic to my site. Something other than bought traffic too.
